The weights are the organizers' setting.

Each judge scores every criterion from 1 to 5. A review's total is the weighted mean of its criteria, with the weights the organizers set:

  2. +⅓ × Quality
  3. +⅓ × Innovation

Before ranking, the portal evens out judges who score harshly or generously, and shows next to every result how it was worked out.
